Robert Falconer is a SSHRC Doctoral Fellow at the London School of Economics and Research Fellow with the School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary. His work focuses on estimating the impacts of public policy, social policy, and policy transfer on migration, demographic change, and pluralism. He holds a Master of Public Policy Policy from the University of Calgary, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Toronto.
Robert's dissertation work focuses on the effects of sponsoring a refugee on the sponsors themselves and the spread of these effects through their non-sponsor social networks. When he is not reading or writing, he enjoys spending time with his wife Julie and son Endel, going out with for hikes, camping, and bike rides.
